A 3.5-kilometer section of the A60 north of Bitburg was badly in need of rehabilitation. A perfectly coordinated team of machines from Hamm and Vögele was deployed on the project. Thanks to the Smart Compact Pro assistance system and the ergonomic ErgoPlus 5 operating concept, both paving precision and the tight schedule were easily fulfilled.

With a control system conversion, Weibel AG have prepared their proven, reliable BA 240 from Benninghoven for the future. Thanks to the new BLS 4 control system, the plant will continue to reliably produce high-quality rolled asphalt and mastic asphalt.

A construction company automated the adjustment of the screed width of its Dash 5 paver by detecting and following a joint edge with the Edge Detection Laser Sensor from Vögele. This ensured precise and resource-efficient paving and simultaneously reduced the paver operator’s workload.

Top asphalt quality for fast cars: The Russian construction company Tekhalyans, responsible for resurfacing and maintaining the Sochi Autodrom, relies on the new high-tech TBA 3000 plant for this work. A high mixing capacity, more process reliability, less energy consumption and resource-friendly use of recycled materials – these aspects speak for themselves. Top quality for top speeds up to 320 km/h!
