The Road Passion

At construction company SCERM, Colas Group has invested in advanced technology to achieve significant reductions in the total carbon emissions (TC/VOC) caused by feeding recycled material into the production process. The existing plant, located in Carros in southern France, will be retrofitted with a catalytic converter for asphalt mixing plants – an important step for securing the future of the site.

The work schedule of contractor Enrico Feind’s milling crew called for the deployment of the company’s W 120 Fi on two construction sites on the same day – in the center and on the outskirts of Berlin. The machine unites maximum performance and versatility and, thanks to its fully-enclosed cabin, also guarantees a high level of comfort for the operator.

Three slipform pavers SP 64 from Wirtgen were deployed on a road widening project on one of Uruguay’s most important national highways. A collaborative partnership and efficient machine technology were the key factors in ensuring the project’s success.

Top asphalt quality for fast cars: The Russian construction company Tekhalyans, responsible for resurfacing and maintaining the Sochi Autodrom, relies on the new high-tech TBA 3000 plant for this work. A high mixing capacity, more process reliability, less energy consumption and resource-friendly use of recycled materials – these aspects speak for themselves.
