Vögele hands over ten pavers to the Juchem Group

Construction group puts its faith in “Dash 5” technologies

Joseph Vögele AG has delivered seven pavers of the new “Dash 5” generation to the Juchem Group, with a further three to follow in the spring. These machines will replace the group’s previous “Dash 3” models; the company consistently invests in progressive paver technologies.

Machine park upgrade

The big machine handover: manufacturer Vögele delivers a total of ten latest-generation pavers to the Juchem Group. This construction company headquartered in Niederwörresbach in the Rhineland Palatinate is getting four Highway Class pavers of the SUPER 2100-5 X and SUPER 1900-5 X type, five Universal Class pavers of the SUPER 1800-5 X and SUPER 1803-5 X type and one SUPER 800-5 P mini paver. The group is consequently acquiring all the currently available models of the new “Dash 5” generation to replace its “Dash 3” pavers.

“It’s important to us to have standard machines at all our locations. We deliberately chose the new Vögele asphalt pavers because we are impressed by the technical innovations of the “Dash 5” generation, the reliability and quality of the pavers - and also the reliable service we have received for many years. We see this investment as the logical extension of our strategic partnership with the Wirtgen Group,” says Philipp Wild, Managing Director of the Juchem Group.

The new machines will equip the group and its subsidiaries, Juchem Asphaltbau, dittgen Bauunternehmen and Gerst & Juchem Asphaltbau, for both current and future road construction requirements, as the pavers combine sturdy engineering with automation functions and digital solutions. They increase paving quality, reduce start-up and assembly times, cut transport and rework costs and thus increase productivity.

First choice for machine operators

The key factor in choosing Vögele pavers was to give operating staff what they wanted. The simple operation, improved ergonomics, new comfort functions and reduced setup times of the new pavers all focus on a user-friendly approach. Starting up from the ground using Paver Access Control (PAC), the integrated Light Package Plus and new assistance systems such as Grade Assist or automated steering with AutoTrac and Smart Pave make operators’ routine tasks easier. “The pavers we have already received have proved themselves in the field,” says Philipp Wild. “We have successfully completed our first few projects with them.”
