Extending screed of the Dash 5 generation
The latest generation of the AB 500 makes a strong team together with the SUPER 1800-5 X, SUPER 1803-5 X, SUPER 1900-5 X and SUPER 2100-5 X Dash 5 pavers. With its infinitely adjustable single-tube telescoping system, this screed covers a virtually unlimited spectrum of applications with paving widths ranging from 2.55 meters (8.37 ft) to 5 meters (16.4 ft), and even to 8.75 meters (28.7 ft) with bolt-on extensions.

Compaction technology

High-compaction technology
The pressure bars driven by pulsed-flow hydraulics are the core of VÖGELE high-compaction technology. By combining screed versions TP1, TP2 and TP2 Plus with this unique technology, our pavers achieve maximum compaction values. Compaction performances of over 98% can be achieved with VÖGELE’s unique high-compaction technology – without rolling.
Hydraulic tamper-stroke adjuster
A correctly adjusted tamper stroke is essential to compaction results and the floating behavior of screeds. The hydraulic tamper stroke adjuster enables operators to easily set the optimum tamper stroke for paving jobs at the press of a button.
Manufacturing Technology
VÖGELE screeds feature leading-edge technology made possible by state-of-the-art production processes. The first of these processes, the precision cutting to shape of extremely wear-resistant sheet steel, takes place on laser cutting stations. Robots which operate continuously to a consistently high standard ensure long-lasting, stable welds.
