The WIRTGEN GROUP is an internationally operating group of companies in the construction equipment industry. We owe our strength to the five traditional product brands WIRTGEN, VÖGELE, HAMM, KLEEMANN and BENNINGHOVEN. As technological leader, we can offer our customers mobile machine solutions for road construction and road rehabilitation, plants for mining and processing minerals or recycling material and for the production of asphalt.
Our corporate group is at home allover the world. Five specialized production facilities in Germany; three local production facilities in Brazil, China, and India; a large number of our own sales and service companies; and a global dealer network make us successful around the globe. Despite our international alignment, we never lose sight of our roots. Our corporate culture is based on our history of delivering value – for the success of our customers on construction sites around the world. This is what motivates our employees to work together to develop innovative processes and manufacture high-quality products.
We leave no wish unfulfilled. With five strong brands, together, we – the WIRTGEN GROUP – cover the entire road construction process chain, from processing, mixing, paving, compacting, and rehabilitating.
The WIRTGEN GROUP produces its machines in five specialized facilities in Germany. We achieve this with one strong team, our leading and highly specialized product brands, and with individual options for each customer – from a single machine to a complete package for the entire cycle.
What began as a trucking company for construction materials in 1961 has grown over the years to become the largest of the WIRTGEN GROUP brand headquarters. Today, the WIRTGEN facility in Windhagen, located in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, manufactures cutting-edge road and mineral technologies. The production of road milling machines, cold recyclers, soil stabilizers, slipform pavers, and surface miners requires a versatile production system and the highest possible degree of vertical integration.
Our highly trained and motivated employees produce the world’s most advanced pavers, paving screeds, and mobile material feeders at our location in Ludwigshafen. VÖGELE’s factory was completely rebuilt in 2010 and is now the world’s most state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for road pavers.
The HAMM facility: Our employees have manufactured our world-renowned HAMM rollers in the highest quality and cutting-edge design at the Tirschenreuth site in the Upper Palatinate region of Germany for over 135 years. Here, in the birthplace of modern compaction technology, we manufacture compactors, tandem rollers, and pneumatic tire rollers via paced assembly in large and modern assembly halls.
KLEEMANN has been producing crushers and screens for stone processing since the 1920s. All of the company’s manufacturing processes, from prefabrication to final assembly, are consolidated under one roof at the new KLEEMANN facility in Göppingen, which was built in 2009. All of its systems are manufactured with the highest degree of precision.
Founded in 1909 as a small workshop, today BENNINGHOVEN is a trendsetter in the field of asphalt mixing plants and the associated combustion technology. The opening of the world’s most state-of-the-art facility for the manufacture of asphalt mixing plants in Wittlich in the summer of 2018 is a further milestone in our quest to offer customers the best possible solutions when it comes to cost-effectively producing asphalt of the highest quality.
We produce locally in Brazil, China and India to effectively meet each country’s specific needs.
In Langfang, not far from the Chinese capital of Beijing, the WIRTGEN GROUP has set up a base that houses an assembly facility as well as a sales and service center including a workshop and spare parts warehouse. The local manufacturing program includes WIRTGEN cold milling machines, VÖGELE pavers, and HAMM rollers. The percentage of locally procured parts and subassemblies is constantly increasing, and the same strict quality standards are applied as at the brand headquarters in Germany.
The WIRTGEN GROUP’s Indian subsidiary is located near the industrial center Pune in India’s northwest. The state-of-the-art manufacturing plant includes a final assembly hall, a workshop, a blasting plant, a paint shop and a spare parts store. The new machine finishing facility provides a high-pressure washing space for machines as big as screens and guarantees an optimum finish and a safe working environment.
Ciber is a WIRTGEN GROUP company based in Porto Alegre, Brazil that produces mixing plants for road construction throughout Latin America. The company also exports its machines to Africa.
