VÖGELE EcoPlus

VÖGELE EcoPlus
Lower consumption and less emissions

The fact that our road pavers comply with the applicable emissions directives is by no means enough for us. The machine concept of the “Dash 5” generation is based on environmentally friendly machine technology.

An important building block for this is VÖGELE EcoPlus which reduces consumption and emissions. The package consists of various features that reduce the machine’s consumption. Depending on the application and utilization of the paver, fuel savings of up to 25% can be achieved with VÖGELE EcoPlus. This not only means considerable financial savings for companies, but also has a positive effect on the environment. Because every liter of fuel saved reduces carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions.

EcoPlus briefly explained
The technical innovations
Switchable splitter gearbox

When the paver is at a standstill, all hydraulic pumps for “Travel”, “Conveying” and “Compacting” are automatically switched off. This results in lower fuel consumption.

Energy-optimized tamper drive

The tamper is driven by a variable displacement pump. This always delivers exactly the amount of oil needed for the current tamper speed. Not a drop more or less.

Controlled hydraulic oil temperature circuit

A bypass circuit gets the hydraulic oil to its optimum operating temperature very quickly, Enabling rapid, fuel-saving operation of the paver.

Media temperature-controlled fan control

The media temperature-controlled fan control automatically adjusts the fan output to the units to be supplied. This means that the temperatures of the hydraulic fluid, engine charge air, cooling water and environment are monitored within a closed control loop and the radiator output is adjusted accordingly.
