    Paving-relevant data is displayed on the ErgoPlus 5 Premium Touch display and the screed control console and documented on the paver – just like with WPT Paving Basic. The paving team maintains visibility into current jobsite progress.

    With WPT Paving Pro, the Dash 5 paver is ready to use additional solutions such as the temperature sensor RoadScan or the Smart Pave digital control.

  • Simplified documentation:
    Recorded performance data is automatically transferred to the John Deere Operations Center™, where it is available—for example, to create a jobsite report. Site managers can manage their reporting obligations without significant extra effort.
  • Comprehensive analysis:
    WPT Paving Pro enables precise evaluation of performance data in the John Deere Operations Center™ – the basis for informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Production System overview:
    The data can be combined with WPT data from all WIRTGEN GROUP machines involved in a jobsite (e.g. milling machines, pavers, and rollers). This provides a holistic overview of the entire Production System.

To use WPT Paving, customers need:

• a Dash 5 generation X-Tier road paver
• ErgoPlus 5 with Premium Touch

For WPT Paving Pro, additional components such as the StarFire™ dual-antenna system are required. These are part of the option and are installed in the roof of the paver. This ensures the digital solution is always ready for use.

• WPT Paving Basic is available on all Dash 5 X-Tier pavers, provided they are equipped with Premium Touch.
• Transferring and using the data in the John Deere Operations Center™ for construction machinery is possible if the digital telematics platform is available in that country.
• WPT Paving Pro can be used in selected countries.

The John Deere Operations Center™ for construction machinery is a central platform for digital solutions for managing complete jobsites – anytime, anywhere, including monitoring, maintenance, and analysis.

The Operations Center™ acts as the interface between operators and machines on the jobsite and the office of site managers and dispatchers. This ensures better visibility, efficiency, and productivity.

There is a retrofit option for users who already have a VÖGELE X-Tier Dash 5 generation road paver with ErgoPlus 5 Premium Touch and want to use WPT Paving Pro.

WPT Paving in the Basic and Pro versions was developed specifically for the Dash 5 machine generation. Retrofitting a Dash 3 paver with the digital solution is therefore not possible.
