The Road Passion

In Rangendingen, in the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg, Leonhard Weiss is counting on the concept of an all-electric construction site with e-machines from Hamm and Vögele. The aim is to make the construction process safer and more cost-efficient and simultaneously reduce noise and CO₂ emissions.

Three road pavers and three material feeders from Vögele have renovated the Automotodrom in Brno. The approximately 14,000 tonnes of special asphalt were produced in a Benninghoven mixing plant and had to be laid on the 5.4 km-long carriageway in the shortest possible time. Since international race tracks must guarantee maximum grip and consistent evenness, the requirements for the material and paving were particularly high.

The ruins of Falkenstein Castle are located in the Allgäu at 1,277 metres – accessible via a private access road that also leads to a boutique hotel with a gourmet restaurant. The road, which is around two kilometres long, runs in narrow serpentines and has gradients of up to 30 per cent. Josef Böck GmbH from Nesselwang relies on the new Vögele SUPER 1800-5 X road paver with AB 500 TP1 extending screed for demanding surface course rehabilitation.

First-class asphalt for the fastest of cars: Russian building contractor Tekhalyans, responsible for the renovation and maintenance of the Sochi Autodrom, is using the new high-tech TBA 3000 plant. The feature speak for themselves: high mixing capacity, improved process reliability, less energy consumption and the resource-friendly use of recycled materials. Premium quality for top speeds of up to 320 km/h!
