World and Market Premieres from the Wirtgen Group Fascinate Visitors at CONEXPO 2026

New Generations: the Dash 5 Pavers and the WR Series Wheeled Cold Recyclers and Stabilizers

At the show in Las Vegas, the Wirtgen Group and John Deere stood out as innovation drivers in the construction industry with a clear focus on customer needs. The shared booth showcased the premieres of Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, and Kleemann products and a wide range of smart automation solutions.

With powerful machines and smart technology solutions for greater efficiency and precision, the Wirtgen Group presented answers to the challenges facing the construction industry—and how customers can use them to realize their projects profitably and with high quality.

Digitalized and Automated for Measurable Efficiency

14 Wirtgen Group Machines alone were equipped with the latest technologies – including Smart Level Pro, Smart Pave, Smart Compact Pro, or the Wirtgen Group Performance Tracker solutions. On the one hand, they address machine operators, who are relieved of some of their workload thanks to smart automated functions and, at the same time, are assisted in the achievement of even more precise results. The collection of performance data provides customers with comprehensive and seamless project documentation and important insights into how they can optimize operating costs, also with a view to future construction projects, and thus realize them more profitably.

Global Firsts and Market Premieres at the Outdoor Machinery Exhibition

A particular highlight was the market premiere of the Wirtgen large milling machine W 210 XF, which was presented for the first time with Precision Grinding. Thanks to a newly developed grinding shaft, optimum surface quality is achieved on asphalt, concrete, and cobblestone pavements while maintaining the material properties.
With the WR 240 X, Wirtgen presented a model from the new generation of wheeled cold recyclers and stabilizers. A new operating concept, digital assistance systems such as Mix Assist, Wirtgen Group CoPilot, and WPT Stabilizing ensure high mixing quality, ergonomics, and efficiency.
For concrete paving applications, the slipform paver SP 33 attracted visitors' interest due to the flexibility offered by its ability to pave in both offset and Crosspave modes.

Vögele presented the new Dash 5 generation of pavers for the first time in the USA. The focus was on the world premieres of the 10-ft class: the SUPER 2000-5 X tracked paver and the wheeled version, the SUPER 2003-5 X, with the redesigned VR 600 and VF 600 screeds. The Dash 5 generation is characterized by outstanding operator comfort, automated processes, shorter setup times, and low noise and exhaust emissions.
There was also a representative of the Dash 5 Mini Class pavers at the show: the new SUPER 800-5 P. With its new hopper wall geometry and a redesigned operator's platform, it offers an ideal overview and ergonomics. The new VR 500 screed for the 8-ft class also attracted a great deal of interest, and was shown here in combination with the SUPER 1700-3.

At Hamm, the focus was on automated compaction, and therefore on the Smart Compact Pro system. The new Realtime Density Scan sensor on the machine determines the asphalt density in real time in order to automatically and separately regulate compaction energy and modes in both drums. Real-time density is the key parameter for the assessment of quality during compaction and has been integrated in the compaction process for the first time in Smart Compact Pro. With the HC 200i C VA compactor for earthworks, Hamm presented a further innovative solution. Here, Smart Compact enables automated compaction to a preset target value in MN/m² (MPa) on the basis of a new compaction measurement and a variable amplitude. With the HC 100i G, Hamm also presented a new model especially for the machine rentals market.

Another market premiere led the line-up of machines presented by Kleemann. The MOBISCREEN MSS 1102 PRO, the first scalper of the PRO Line series, is now available on the North American market. The robust plant is designed for efficient processing of materials at rates of up to 827 US t/h (750 t/h) and is ideal for use in quarries. High throughput rates, flexible configuration options, and an intuitive plant control concept ensure high productivity and safety.

With SPECTIVE CONNECT, operators get direct access to all relevant process data on their smartphone or tablet. The stockpile monitoring function enables the display of the current status of material stockpiles. When a predefined value is reached, a message appears indicating that the stockpile should be cleared as soon as possible. This makes the work easier and increases productivity.
