Optimum milling results have a significant influence on the quality and economic efficiency of the subsequent race track rehabilitation work. On Sachsenring, the Wirtgen large milling machines W 200 and W 220 handled the job
“On re-profiling jobs, precision is essential for quality. The Wirtgen milling machines reliably delivered this,” say the two milling machine operators, Rolf Lohberger and Marco Seidel.
The Vögele pavers were easily able to keep to the specified minimum speed even on inclines of up to 10%.
Thanks to the variable length of 6.5 – 13 m and a large height measuring range of 250 – 600 mm, the BigSki can be used very flexibly. The sensor beam was attached to the screed arm of the outer paver. The freshly paved surface behind the screed served as part of the reference.
Master Mixer Wolfgang Seifart is highly satisfied with the control of the TBA 3000 asphalt mixing plant from Benninghoven.
The production and silo capacity of the asphalt mixing plant was one of the relevant factors in the Sachsenring project. With the 3-t mixer, a mixed material storage silo with four bins and direct loading, the TBA 3000 more than met the requirements.
