Processing Recycled Materials

Environmentally Friendly

In addition to reinforced concrete, asphalt and bricks, rubble and mixed construction wastes are separated into their useful components by mobile crushers or stationary crushing and sorting machines.

In natural stone processing, an excavator transfers pieces of feed material, i.e. the rock to be processed, to the mobile crusher. When processing recycled material, construction waste, concrete, asphalt, or waste incineration and steel mill slags are processed as aggregates for road construction and other applications.

A combined process of crushing, screening, and separating metal is an efficient means of processing material to be recycled. To obtain an end-product of even higher quality, further processing steps can be added, such as washing, eliminating light materials such as plastics and paper with the aid of air classification, and additional electromagnetic metal separation.
