We are seeking a

Sales Engineer

Location: WIRTGEN INDIA Pvt. Ltd., Dist Pune, 412214, Maharashtra, India

Basic Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: BE, MBA (good to have)
  • Age: 27 to 30 Years
  • Experience: 5 to 7 Years


Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for the market share and revenue from machine sales for designated area of operation.


Scope of Work & Accountabilities:

  • Understanding market/ potential market for Hamm & Vogele Super 1403.
  • Identifying all relevant projects / potential prospects in the region and establishing rapport with customers & decision makers.
  • Supporting Zonal head sales objectives by establishing forecasting accuracy and developing annual sales targets for zone and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Extensive travelling to cover the market.
  • Identifying all key personnel/ decision makers;
  • Aligning to strategy for increasing selling prices and able to sell value to the customer.
  • Keeping himself updated with completion product understanding and able to do comparison.
  • Negotiate and close agreements with New and key customers
  • Visiting or arranging visit of competent person to the jobsite for understanding requirement and explaining/ convincing user;
  • Ensuring availability of all sales aids at the regional office and ensure updating regularly.
  • Keeping track of competition activities pertaining to the prospect;
  • Establishing product/ service superiority in terms of measurable benefits, and, finally, converting proposals to technically and commercially clear orders at the right price and at acceptable terms and conditions through persistent follow-up
  • Ensure Environment,Health & Safety related adherence as per the job role.
