Fixed site, but still flexible
Like most asphalt mixing plants in the UK, the iNOVA 2000 supplied to B.P. Mitchell is operated at a permanent site. As a rule, projects in the UK are small to medium-sized. Whether for airports, roads in new residential developments, or rehabilitation work on sections of motorway and other high-speed roads, a local supply of asphalt is therefore essential. Even so, having a mobile facility was an important consideration for the customer. Although most of the asphalt required for road construction projects is supplied by cement works and quarries with stationary asphalt mixing plants, a mobile plant offers greater flexibility and a competitive advantage, particularly for temporary projects.
With the new Ciber iNOVA 2000 plant, Brendan Mitchell is looking to establish his company as a reliable source of high-quality materials, supplying them quickly and directly to customers.
iNOVA meets key jobsite requirements
The iNOVA 2000 produces asphalt efficiently and can help reduce carbon emissions. By using reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), the INOVA 2000 meets the requirements of UK jobsites while reducing transportation costs and fuel consumption and optimising the combustion process.
