FAQs relating to TeleMold system support

If you have any questions or problems concerning the TeleMold system, you can contact the TeleMold branch serving your area.

On the control panel of the TeleMold system, in the user manual, and on the hand pump.

All SP 64(i) + SP 94(i) + SP 124(i) machines that have a type 1300 wi paving mold. You should send a specific query including your machine number to your local branch or dealer.

You can measure the evenness of newly-paved concrete surfaces. Additionally, no concrete should get into the inside area.

FAQs about the TeleMold system

Yes, once the hydraulic nuts have been tensioned, the high-pressure hoses can be removed.

The paving mold cover should completely cover the internal area with the TeleMold system to avoid contamination.

Store the hand pump under the cover provided and pack it away.

To avoid damage to this valuable piece of equipment, we recommend unmounting it and storing it in a safe place.

Send the defective nut to the branch serving your area and have it replaced with a new one. The defective nut can be repaired by the manufacturer.

  • Check whether the roller chain in the transmission is intact.
  • Check whether the valve connectors are securely attached.
  • Check whether the limit switch under the bottom carriage is intact and sensing the spindle.

No concrete should get into the inside of the paving mold during paving.

  • Check whether the paving mold is maintaining its set evenness.
  • Check whether the components of the TeleMold rod mount are securely attached.
  • Check that the hydraulic nuts are tightly secured.

There’s a red marking on the piston rod. Once it has been reached, the hydraulic nut is in its end position.

Check whether the quick connectors on the manual slider are also attached to the cylinder.

Check whether the safety catches on the hoses are open.

  • Check whether the hand pump is set to Pump.
  • Check whether there’s enough oil in the hand pump, and top it up if necessary.

  • Check whether the hand pump is correctly attached to the hydraulic nuts.
  • Check whether the hand pump has the right pressure.
  • Check whether the thread for the hydraulic nuts is clean, and clean it with a wire brush if necessary.
(Raise the hand pump pressure by 50 bars / 725 psi)

  • Check whether the nuts on the hydraulic nut have been turned back far enough.
  • Check whether the TeleMold is being held in balance with the cylinder.
  • Collapse the screw jack somewhat and then pull the prongs.

By opening the maintenance hatches on the front of the mold.

To override the sensor, hold down the button to open the TeleMold. It will slowly open after 10 seconds. Contact your dealer or local branch to have the cable or sensor replaced.

There’s a red marking on the piston rod. Once it has been reached, the hydraulic nut is in its end position.

  • The TeleMold needs to be collapsed with the screw jack to the point where no large gaps are visible between the individual shafts.
  • The TeleMold must be made parallel with the cylinder.
  • The intakes of the hydraulic nuts must be calibrated with the prongs to be free of play.
  • When building pressure in the pump, make sure not to push the cylinders all the way to the end. This will prevent pressure buildup and you might be fooled into thinking the mold is closed, when in reality the TeleMold is still open, as the hydraulic nuts are not pressing against the TeleMold but against their end positions.

Make sure the hand pump is set to Release. The hoses of the hydraulic nuts must be connected to the hand pump. The prongs must be mounted. If all this has been done, carefully extend the TeleMold with the screw jack until the hydraulic nuts are almost completely collapsed.

  • Pay attention to hydraulic hoses and electric cables.
  • The vibrator bar and the metering gate must be opened beforehand.
  • Make sure the definer bars don’t tilt and the mills are at the side.

  • Check whether the pressure bolts were removed after transport.
  • Check whether the plunger cylinders shift without pressure; flip the valve by hand if necessary.
  • Give it a boost with the plunger cylinder. There is also a switch on the TeleMold remote control.

  • The control unit is not attached.
  • The key switch on the main control panel in the operator’s stand is not in the ON position.

Every TeleMold system can be extended by a maximum of 3 ft (914.4 mm).

  • Check whether the pressure bolts were removed after transport.
  • Check whether the plunger cylinders shift without pressure; flip the valve by hand if necessary.
  • Give it a boost with the plunger cylinder. There is also a switch on the TeleMold remote control.

There is a button for all four lifting columns on the TeleMold remote control.

  • The TeleMold can be powered from any USP outlet.
  • The remote control plugs directly into the TeleMold.
