Trio of Kleemann Machines in Utah, USA
TBK Excavation Relies on Kleemann Technology
For the further expansion of its thriving business, TKB Excavation is staking its success on the power and efficiency of Kleemann plants. In St. George, Utah, a highly efficient trio consisting of a jaw crusher, a cone crusher, and a scalping screen is getting the job done.
Founded in 2005, TKB Excavation has since successfully established itself in the booming market. TKB’s owner, Trent Bess, started out as an urban excavation contractor. Several years ago, he purchased a Kleemann MOBICAT MC 110i EVO jaw crusher for processing and recycling the excavated material. As the demand for urban excavation work declined over the years, TKB Excavation shifted its focus to rock mining for the production of aggregates for the construction industry. In September 2023, the company owner added a cone crusher to his equipment fleet after once again deciding to invest in another plant from Kleemann – a MOBICONE MCO 90i EVO2 – on the basis of his previous positive experience.
“At first we thought we could get by with a jaw crusher and cone crusher alone,” says Trent Bess. “But, in reality, it soon became clear that we needed additional screening capacity.” The company therefore decided to add a MOBISCREEN MSS 802i EVO scalping screen to its equipment fleet to complete its Kleemann trio. “Having had such a favorable experience with our first Kleemann machine, the decision in favor of Kleemann for our other new acquisitions was an easy one,” explains Trent Bess. “The machines are very efficient and particularly economical when it comes to fuel consumption. This is a genuine investment in the future of my company.”
