Innovation at Bauma – hot-gas generator

Innovations at Bauma 2022: Benninghoven hot-gas generator

With Benninghoven’s hot-gas generator, operators working with recycled asphalt can maximize their input rates to 100 percent with minimal emissions.

The hot-gas generator is the market’s technology leader in asphalt recycling. Developed by Benninghoven as the centerpiece of its sustainability strategy, the generator has already seen successful use in many asphalt mixing plants. Benninghoven will be showcasing the product at Bauma 2022.

When you need to maximize your recycled material input rates in asphalt production and keep emissions low, Benninghoven’s hot-gas generator is the solution. Also available as a retrofit, Benninghoven’s system allows you to produce asphaltic mixture from 100 percent reclaimed asphalt. All of this is made possible by gentle heating with hot gas using the countercurrent principle, which also ensures your asphalt mixing plant meets strict clean-air regulations – such as the TA-Luft standards in Germany. TA-Luft prescribes significant reductions in emissions: the resulting total carbon (TC) emissions must not exceed the limit value of <50 mg/m³. This is guaranteed by Benninghoven’s solution.
