Dual study course in the area of Service Engineering

Boring? No way!

Technological progress and digitalisation mean that industrial enterprises are using more and more machines and plants. They form the basis of the production cycles and have to function reliably. Losses amounting to millions can result if they fail. This dual study course will teach you how to keep production running. Internally, you are one of the pillars of the company; as a service provider, you generate high turnover and play a decisive role in customer binding. Practical training is carried out at our location Göppingen, theoretical training is in the DHBW in Mannheim.

Course of training
  • Theoretical and practical learning of the classic engineering subjects as well as general business management
  • Possible tasks: generation of After-Sales turnover, development of dealer networks, technical support, monitoring of field quality
  • Acquisition of business expertise and the technical core areas
  • Support with current subjects and the processing of your own projects

Requirements
  • A-levels, or at least an equivalent advanced college entry certificate with very high grades
  • Distinctive interest in technical interrelations
  • Affinity for numbers, their processing and analysis
  • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytic and logical thinking capacity
  • High willingness to perform, commitment and a structured and organised method of working
  • Pleasure in communication, teamwork and a good knowledge of English
