The perfect start to your career

The dual electrical engineering and information technology study course combines a university study course at the University of Ulm with industrial training as an electronics engineer (f/m/d) for automation technology. During your dual-track study course, you will find out how to install electric circuits. Furthermore, you will acquire know-how, for example, for programming new machines and putting them into operation. You will also be in a position, among other things, to support the development of components for technical systems right from the starting phase.

Duration of training: 4.5 years

Prerequisite: Final secondary school examination (A-Levels)

Later place of work: Technical development or control engineering

Course of training
  • Duration of training: 4.5 years (study course + training)
  • Training as a skilled worker (14 months presence in the company)
  • Followed by alternating phases at university and in the company
  • Trade test in the 7th semester
  • Final degree in the 9th semester
