Application tips – how to realise your dream of an apprenticeship position

The first step in the direction of the working world is a neat and tidy application. This is why we have compiled a list of our more important tips for your application

Cover letter

  • What drew your attention to our vacant apprenticeship position?
  • Why would you like to start this training course, and why choose this company?
  • What are your strengths?
  • Why are you the right applicant for us?

Curriculum vitae

  • This is where we would like to get to know you better, so please tell us something about yourself! Describe your school education up to now, your practical training and, of course, your hobbies.
  • We would also be happy to receive a voluntary photograph.
  • Your curriculum vitae should also be free of gaps, up to date and arranged chronologically.

References

  • Please also send us copies of your last two references together with your application documents. We are also interested in verification of placements if the practical experience is relevant to the intended training course.
  • IMPORTANT: Applicants from comprehensive schools must observe the following: As comprehensive schools will not be issuing school reports in future, but rather learning development reports, we draw your attention expressly to the fact that applications will only be accepted if school grades are also shown in the "Level" column!

Application

  • Our preferred form of application is online. During the application period, you can find a link to the application portal at the bottom of the pages on the training careers. We do not accept applications for training position outside the application period.
