Optimum operational reliability, low running costs, and minimal energy consumption are the goals achieved by these developments.

Bitumen is the primary — and hence irreplaceable — component in asphalt concrete. This means that quality and availability have a decisive role to play here.
Bitumen storage

Electrically heated and insulated bitumen tanks with a range of volume capacities are used for storing the hot bitumen – one of the primary components used in asphalt concrete. These tanks are available as single- or multi-chamber tanks. For storing polymer modified bitumen, the tanks can be equipped with an additional agitator or mixing nozzle.

The tanks are developed, designed, and manufactured in-house at BENNINGHOVEN.

From the convenient centralized control located in the control cabinet to the fully discrete additional dosing of special bitumen types such as clear bitumen, the overall bitumen system of tanks plus piping is adapted to ensure an optimum supply for the asphalt mixing plant.
