Warehouse Support Specialist
Location: WIRTGEN AMERICA, Inc., Antioch, TN 37013, USA
Job Overview:
A Warehouse Support Specialist ensures daily operations with involvement in Dangerous Goods, Customs Clearance, along with assisting in all aspects of warehouse operations. This includes receiving, packing, shipping goods, inventory discrepancies and Warehouse Management System.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Dangerous Goods: Dangerous Goods Certified and act as DG Lead for warehouse.
Customer Clearance: Serve as back up for current Customs Clearance Specialist.
Outbound Shipments: Monitors carriers’ performance/in-transit shipments, create and maintain records.
Freight Rates: Verifies and audits transportation rates, approves SAP workflow for all spare part freight invoices.
Inventory Management: Assists in receiving, inspecting, stocking, and conducting inventory counts to maintain accurate records.
Operational Support: Works with warehouse staff with organization and maintaining cleanliness.
Additionally: Partners with Warehouse Process Improvement specialist in resolving Warehouse Management System (WMS), SAP, and ConnectShip issues.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma and 5 years minimum warehouse experience.
Required skills include:
Experience with SAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office and Excel.

Physical Stamina:
While performing the duties of this job employee must be able to lift 50 lbs, required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hand and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
