The construction of racetracks is the ultimate form of road construction. Only the best equipment and high-precision operations make it possible to race safely at over 300 km/h.
The road surfaces need to be precisely produced in order to make safe driving at speeds of over 300 km/h possible. Here’s a closer look at some example operations.
Easy Drive – four machine series, one operating concept
With Easy Drive, HAMM has developed a standardised operating concept for tandem rollers (HD+ and DV+ series), compactors (H series) and pneumatic tyre rollers (HP series – Tier 4) that reduces complexity during operation to a minimum and enables operators to react quickly and correctly in no time at all.
A thermal mixing process turns aggregates and bitumen into asphalt for road construction. We explain the process and different types of equipment used.
The more even and high-quality compaction is for earthworks and asphalt work, the more durable and long-lasting the streets and buildings constructed upon it will be. More and more frequently, invitations to tender and public projects therefore include demands for a detailed, comprehensive compaction measurement. To meet these specific requirements, HAMM offers a reliable solution in the form of the modular HCQ (HAMM Compaction Quality) system.
