Bauma 2022 Innovations: Innovative Concrete Technologies

At Bauma 2022, Wirtgen will be presenting several innovative new products for the concrete paving sector.

Celebrating its premiere: the versatile SP 20(i) offset slipform paver, which can pave safety barriers up to a height of 2 m or concrete surfaces with a width of 2.5 m. Visitors to the event can also enjoy the first-hand experience of a complete paving train for fully reinforced concrete paving and the SP 124(i) inset slipform paver with a new dowel bar inserter. Another highlight of this year’s show is the AutoPilot 2.0 control system for stringless concrete paving.

Paving Train

The 24-foot (7.3 m) paving train, comprising a WPS 102(i), an SP 94(i), a TeleMold and a TCM 180(i) offers everything you need for fully reinforced concrete paving.

World Premiere of the SP 20(i)

With lifting columns connected directly to the chassis, the application-optimized configuration of the SP 20(i) enables efficient paving of monolithic concrete profiles with a height of up to 2.0 m or concrete surfaces up to a maximum width of 2.5 m.

SP 124(i) Inset Slipform Paver

The SP 124(i) inset slipform paver is ideal for the cost-effective paving of large areas of concrete with widths of between 4.5 and 12.0 m and the precise placement of reinforcement with the new chain-feed dowel bar inserter.
