Milestones 1900 to 1925

Successful 3rd generation
Despite growing competition, VÖGELE also leads the market internationally as the railway network grows. The third generation – Heinrich Vögele's sons Joseph Vögele (Dr.-Ing. h. c.) and engineer Wilhelm Vögele – join the company. Shunting gear and capstans are now also included in the product range.

Innovation in points engineering
Dr. Joseph Vögele and Chief Engineer Möslein develop the articulated point as a technical innovation.

VÖGELE – advanced technical and economic development
VÖGELE is granted an exclusive licence to produce the innovative articulated turntable for locomotives. The system soon becomes widely established, as it requires less complex foundations.

A new chapter in the company's history
As roads become a major traffic artery alongside the railways, VÖGELE also supports the development of mechanized road construction by supplying suitable machines for the production and placing of both concrete and asphalt.

VÖGELE gets involved in the construction industry
Inspired by the booming construction industry, VÖGELE also starts making concrete mixers. The mixer division expands continuously: from small free-fall mixers to ready-mix machines to large mixing plants, VÖGELE will supply top-quality products in the decades to come.
