Wirtgen W 120 R: The effective rear loader for economic milling operations

The W 120 R is Wirtgen's powerful small milling machine in the one-meter class for cost-effective milling jobs with a working width of 1.20 m. It caters to a wide variety of applications, ranging from surface course milling to complete pavement removal. The milling machine is set to make its India debut at Excon 2017.

New teammate for the successful W 100 H

Rated at 155-kW, W 120 R is poised for launch on the Indian market, where it will join Wirtgen's successful W 100 H model. Both machines deliver an impressive performance on the job due to maximum efficiency. As a high-performance cold milling machine, the W 120 R can cut to depths of 300 mm and a width of 1,200 mm. With its large milling width, it can generally mill asphalt and concrete roadways across their entire width in just three passes.

LEVEL PRO PLUS leveling system: For precise milling results

A variety of additional and automated functions lead to significantly faster workflows. For example, the LEVEL PRO PLUS leveling system, a completely new product development by Wirtgen, has been fully integrated into the machine's control system. Fewer interfaces mean shorter signal paths in the control systems, and therefore faster reaction times, resulting in an efficient and precise leveling process. Thanks to its intuitive, straightforward operation, LEVEL PRO PLUS guarantees premium quality, high precision milling results.

Powerful material loading, fast transport

The powerful rear-loading system in the W 120 R can be flexibly adjusted for optimized material loading. For instance, there is the hydraulically operated folding conveyor, which can be quickly folded down while working on confined job sites or for transport. Due to its generously dimensioned loading system, the W 120 R can transfer the milled material quickly and continuously, even onto large trucks. Its wide conveyor slewing angle of 25° to both the left and the right sides also facilitates material loading, even in demanding job-site situations. Another strong point of the small milling machine is its compact design, which not only allows milling in narrow passageways but also simplifies transport.
