Mobile impact crusher in cost-effective recycling operation
Bodemclean from Ederveen in the Netherlands offers mobile recycling solutions. The portfolio also includes screening and cleaning contaminated soil or the production of concrete from recycled materials. For some years now, the team has increasingly focused on mobile recycling processes – and has found the perfect plant in the impact crusher MOBIREX MR 110 EVO2.
The combination of high flexibility, high performance and an exceptionally reliable supply of parts and service makes the impact crusher an indispensable tool for Bodemclean in its daily operations. “We offer a wide range of services related to recycling and reuse at various locations. Our plants must therefore be easy to transport and ready for use on site in a short amount of time,” describes Business Manager Peter Verweij. This is exactly where the MOBIREX MR 110 EVO2 plant really shines: it’s easy to transport and quick to set up. This flexibility makes it possible to carry out projects efficiently and without delay.
The plant in the recycling company processes mixed rubble and demolition material with a feed size of 0–500 mm. This results in high-quality mixed granulates, which are used in road construction, among other applications. The installed electromagnet removes ferrous elements from the final product, while the wind sifter removes lightweight material. Together they guarantee the purity of the final product and increase quality.
To minimise noise emissions generated by the power pack in addition to those from the crushing process, the machine is equipped with ergonomic sound-suppression flaps that direct the sound upwards. “My people really like working with the plant. Everything is easily accessible, operation is very user-friendly and the noise level is significantly reduced,” explains Peter Verweij.
At Bodemclean, not only the plant itself but also wear parts such as rotor ledges come directly from Kleemann. “With Original Parts straight from the manufacturer, we know they were designed specifically for this machine and that the quality is top-notch. The rotor ledges meet our requirements exactly, which of course contributes to cost-effectiveness,” says Peter Verweij. He adds: "Of course, we want to minimise downtime as much as possible. Kleemann Support not only helps us with their expertise and sound advice, but also with fast, last-minute delivery, so we can get back to work quickly.”

When the recycling company entered the mobile crushing market in 2022, it had no prior experience with crushing or screening plants. “Before making the purchase, we did a lot of research on competitors and the market,” said Peter Verweij. “Kleemann simply has an excellent reputation. Good final product quality, high reliability and fast service - that's the general consensus.” So far, the high expectations have been fully met. A further advantage of the MOBIREX MR 110 EVO2 is the lower fuel consumption. With a capacity of around 40 litres per hour, the plant operates efficiently and relatively economically – an important factor for the Bodemclean team, which places a strong emphasis on conserving resources through recycling and the use of concrete made from recycled materials. Overall, the company’s assessment of its cost-effectiveness and quality is consistently positive.
Rotor ledges are among the key wear parts in an impact crusher – and their quality plays a decisive role in the efficiency of the crushing process and the quality of the final product. The original Kleemann rotor ledges match the plant perfectly. They consist of high-quality materials and alloy elements.
Depending on the application – whether natural stone of various types or high-performance recycled materials – a range of monolithic or composite rotor ledges is available. They differ in terms of impact resistance and wear resistance and can be selected precisely based on factors such as feed material, moisture content, feed size, rotor speed, or desired reduction ratio. The result: exceptionally long service life for the wear part and excellent crushing results.
