Mechatronics technician (m/w/d): industrial mechanic and industrial electrician in only 4 years

The perfect start to your career

As a mechatronics technician (m/w/d) with this hybrid training course, you work interdisciplinarily in the areas of mechanical systems, electrical systems, electronics and information technology. Your apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/w/o) provides you with in-depth mechanical training and the training course for industrial electrician (m/w/d) provides you with valuable and state-certified electrical training with all the authorisations of a qualified electrical technician. You therefore have the ideal training for flexible deployment and are predestined for work at our customers in the service area.

Brief overview

Start: September

Duration of training: 4 years

Prerequisite: good General Certificate of Secondary Education

Subsequent place of work: assembly lines/production all, repair/customer service/service

During the four years of training, comprising an interaction of vocational school and company training, your instructors will prepare you for your subsequent career. Different specialist departments in our company will convey a comprehensive range of knowledge.

Furthermore, we offer company-internal instruction that accompanies the vocational school training (incl. English) to prepare you for examinations and later professional life.

If you perform well, we can offer you a take-over if the company situation permits this.

Course of training
  • Training workshop: basic training, planning and processing of components on manual and CNC-controlled lathes and milling machines. Basic electrical training
  • Mechanical machining: the focus here is on the handling of a very wide variety of state-of-the-art machine tools and their production processes
  • Electrical workshop: here, you become familiar with the production of different single parts and component groups, which you subsequently have to reuse in assembly and have to install
  • Final assembly: Together with the team, you assemble the prefabricated parts into complex construction machines, test them and finally put them into operation
  • Programming station: based on drawings, you program complicated components and carry out trial runs on CNC machines
Requirements
  • Dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination (e.g. when assembling machine component groups)
  • Care (e.g. when aligning and clamping workpieces)
  • Technical comprehension and craft skills (e.g. when maintaining machines and production lines)
  • Good physical constitution (e.g. for lifting heavy components)
It's never boring here. I'm faced with new challenges every day and I have fantastic colleagues and I can always rely on them.
