The dual study program in electrical engineering combines studies at the University of Trier with training for the recognized training occupation Industrial Electronics Technician (m/f/d). In the course of your dual study program, you will learn how to design and realize electric circuits. On top of this, you will also, for example, acquire the skills and expertise you need to program new systems and get them up and running.
On successful completion of your training, you will, for example, also be able to contribute to the initial design, development, and subsequent realization of components for technical systems.

Total duration: approx. 5 years
Later employment in: technical development or control systems engineering

As far as the situation allows, we will offer you employment within the company on graduation with good results.

Training program:

  • Length of training ∼5 years (studies + vocational training)
  • Training as a qualified specialist(14-month presence in the company)
  • Subsequently, study phases at technical college alternate with in-house training at the company
  • Final vocational training examinations in the 7th semester
  • Regular graduation from technical college in the 9th Semester
