azubiday 2019 at BENNINGHOVEN
At the world’s biggest and most modern plant for the production of asphalt mixing plants in Wengerohr, which we moved to in 2018, BENNINGHOVEN staged the fourth “azubiday” – under the motto “Do you want to mix with us?”.
Experience training at BENNINGHOVEN
“Azubis” are what we call trainees in German, and our current trainees showed visitors the broad spectrum of training and career opportunities offered by BENNINGHOVEN and, of course, what we actually manufacture.
The guided tours of the factory tracked the flow of materials in the production process – from cutting raw materials and surface treatment, in which components are powder coated with cutting-edge technologies, to final assembly, and storage in our warehouses. At the end of the tours, visitors could take a closer look at a fully assembled asphalt mixing plant and marvel at the impressive size of “the BENNINGHOVEN product” in all its glory.
One again, the positive feedback from the training event was impressive, and numerous young people and their families showed intense interest in what goes on at our factory.

In particular, the potential candidates for future training as a construction mechanic, industrial mechanic, or electronics technician were fascinated by the electrical and metalworking training workshops and their state-of-the-art equipment.
The training of specialists is very important to us, as today’s trainees are our company’s next generation of specialists – and it is these young and talented colleagues who will write the coming chapters of our story of success.
