The leading recycling technology from Benninghoven allows plant owners to produce asphaltic mixtures from 100 % reclaimed asphalt. The RPP asphalt mixing plant offers high plant performance, use of a high recycling content and therefore a reduction of the CO2 footprint.

BENNINGHOVEN plants use an asphalt mixer to combine the precisely weighed components (mineral, bitumen and filler) of the asphalt mixture in batches in accordance with the recipe.

Cold recycling

With BENNINGHOVEN cold recycling feed systems, up to 40% of reclaimed asphalt (RAP) material can be added to the asphalt mixing plant. The cold RAP material is fed directly into the mixer. These technologies can even cover very small volumes from 2 t. A hot feed system can be integrated to provide the required flexibility.

Hot recycling

The use of BENNINGHOVEN hot-recycling feed systems is worthwhile in particular for large volumes and for a high recycling content from 70% up to 100 %. Alongside the proven parallel drum, another special feature is the RAP drum which uses counterflow action with a hot gas generator. This technology enables a high content of RAP material, reduces the need for primary materials and meets the requirements of modern asphalt production processes.
