The opening of the world's most modern factory for asphalt mixing plants in summer 2018 was another milestone in our successful history. This allows us to offer our customers the best possible solution when it comes to efficient production of high-quality asphalt.

At the Wittlich location, around 500 employees work to manufacture technologically advanced asphalt mixing plants. At the world’s most advanced factory for asphalt mixing plants, over 313,000 square meters of space are used to create flexible solutions that ensure reliable, cost-effective operation over the entire service life of the plant. With unique innovations in the field of asphalt mixing and combustion technology, BENNINGHOVEN has always been regarded as an industry pioneer. The actions of the company are still characterised by pioneering spirit and tradition in combination with forward-looking technologies and highly specialised employees.

From steel construction to the development of complex control systems – BENNINGHOVEN develops and manufactures all core components in house. Efficient production logistics, modern manufacturing processes and a high degree of automation ensure efficient production at the world’s most modern factory for asphalt mixing plants.

The BENNINGHOVEN branch of Wirtgen Mineral Technologies GmbH is a company of WIRTGEN GROUP, an expanding, internationally active group of companies in the construction equipment industry. The group includes the traditional product brands WIRTGEN, VÖGELE, HAMM, KLEEMANN and BENNINGHOVEN with their main factories in Germany and local production sites in Brazil, China and India. Global customer service is provided by 55 own sales and service companies. Within the WIRTGEN GROUP, the BENNINGHOVEN branch of the Wirtgen Mineral Technologies GmbH is the specialist for manufacturing asphalt mixing plants and their components.
