New Vögele SUPER 1400i paver in India: all-rounder with the latest drive technology

For years, Vögele’s SUPER 1400 paver has been proving itself in the Indian market with its versatile potential applications, compact dimensions and high productivity. The Universal Class paver is now the first Vögele paver in the world to be fitted with a powerful engine from the group’s parent, John Deere, enabling it to meet India’s more stringent CEV Stage IV emissions standards.

The new, intelligent drive technology is a convincing feature which simultaneously delivers a high level of efficiency and a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions. The SUPER 1400 becomes the SUPER 1400i

The new drive technology for the Indian Universal Class paver comes from John Deere and is thus in-house. The 4-cylinder 4045 EW-type diesel engine delivers up to 110 kW and its intelligent electronic engine control results in particularly low emissions and economical fuel consumption. Effective exhaust emissions after-treatment with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) distinctly reduces harmful substances. This meets the requirements of the new CEV Stage IV exhaust emissions standard, and the SUPER 1400 now has “i” added to its machine name. This suffix stands for intelligent emission control and indicates environmentally-friendly engines in which the latest technology guarantees especially low emissions.

The Vögele SUPER 1400i paver has been equipped with a low-emission John Deere engine and thus meets the current CEV Stage IV emissions standard.

Practical all-rounder: in combination with the AB 480 Extending Screed, the SUPER 1400i achieves pave widths of between 2.55 m and 7.5 m.

Effective exhaust emissions after-treatment and intelligent electronic engine control make the SUPER 1400i especially low in emissions. The variable-speed fan and the integrated ECO mode also result in very low noise.

Maximum ruggedness

The ruggedness of undercarriage, material handling technology and engine components is unsurpassed. Steel pistons and lubricated cylinder liners, for example, ensure maximum reliability and a long service life. As a consequence, the SUPER 1400i gives road construction professionals an especially sturdy, low-emission, user-friendly machine for small to medium-sized projects.

High laydown rate

The compact Universal Class paver from Vögele has a material hopper with a capacity of up to 13 t and a laydown rate of up to 600 t/h; it can also pave complex materials like wet mix macadam (WMM) or dry lean concrete (DLC) without any issues.

Intuitive operating concept

The intuitive, easily learned ErgoBasic operating system also allows particularly simple, safe and convenient operation, as well as delivering ergonomic working conditions.
