Asphalt mixing plant against the sunset

Ciber iNOVA 1500 supplies the Greater São Paulo Region

Focus on resource-conscious production

Brazilian infrastructure contractor EIXO SP is currently operating three Ciber iNOVA 1500. asphalt mixing plants in the state of São Paulo. One of these is located in Itirapina, around 220 km from the state capital. The state-of-the-art continuous asphalt mixing plant with a production capacity of 150 t/h enables the use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) and impresses with a simple operating concept and cutting edge control technology.

High productivity and outstanding flexibility

The plant in Itirapina does an impressive job. The continuous asphalt mixing plant produces high-quality asphalt mix for a region of 22 municipalities and, thanks to its high production capacity of 150 t/h, can supply asphalt mix for a road network of more than 529 km. Its immediate proximity to the most important motorways enables an ideal supply of high-quality asphalt mix to the construction sites. If the plant has to be moved to a new location, just one articulated low-loader is sufficient for the transportation of the entire mobile plant. This means that EIXO is in a position to cover the needs of the entire region with just one single asphalt mixing plant.

Prepared for future needs, thanks to RAP

Depending on the configuration, the iNOVA 1500 offers the possibility of processing reclaimed asphalt pavement without compromising on quality. Up to 40% reclaimed asphalt pavement material (RAP) can be added to the new mix – an important option that swung the decision of the Brazilian company. ‘Such an approach is essential for today's market, which is striving to achieve efficiency combined with responsible utilization of resources,’ explains production engineer Nathalia Liani.

‘Resource-efficiency is of immense importance for today’s market.’

The control of the mixing time and the temperature ensures a homogeneous mix in excellent quality.’

The precise dosing of the mix enables the South Americans to achieve results that fulfil the high technical standards for road surfacing materials.Nathalia Liani emphasises: ‘With the iNOVA 1500 we have a plant that not only works reliably and flexibly, but also delivers consistent results throughout and optimises our processes.’
