Reinforced toolholder system for reduced operating costs

With the HT08 toolholder system, the toolholders are permanently welded to the milling drum. They are preferred for milling drums with small cutting circle diameters. The efficient design and high strength materials increase the lifespan of the toolholder.

• Wear margin (see measure x):
  • HT01 = 10 mm
  • HT08 = 17.5 mm

Accurate positioning when replacing toolholders is improved by the revised geometry of the toolholder.

• Length of the positioning cylinder (see measure z):
  • HT01 = 10 mm
  • HT08 = 17,5 mm
• Diameter of the positioning cylinder:
  • HT01 = 7,5 mm
  • HT08 = 10 mm

The improved geometry in the HT08 toolholder reduces the mechanical effort and enables smaller seating notches. This is particularly beneficial for the milling drum wall thickness in the area of the end ring.

HT08 is designed for quick pick changing by means of the automatic pick ejector. This reduces downtime significantly under normal field conditions.
