Internal Control Analyst
Location: WIRTGEN AMERICA, Inc., Antioch, TN 37013, USA
Job Overview:
The Internal Control Analyst reviews the control environment to ensure that procedures and documentation are in place to comply with all rules and regulations under the Sarbanes Oxley Act. The position will work with Wirtgen Group Internal Control and will assist with reviewing other Wirtgen Group subsidiaries as needed. The Internal Control Analyst assists with internal and external audits and oversees that any audit comments are completed with appropriate process changes in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Alignment and Interaction with Wirtgen Group Internal Control team on Internal Control focus areas
Review of Wirtgen America internal control environment and update ICQ documentation
Produces documentation while continually monitoring and testing for SOX Compliance.
Prepares information as requested for external and internal auditors.
Provides recommendations to improve/enhance the internal control environment.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
Proficient in Word and Excel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports.
Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
2+ years’ experience in accounting or related field
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear, required to frequently sit, stand; walk; gross hand and finger dexterity; occasionally reach outward with hands and arms; rarely climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Physical Demands:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
