Debut appearance at the Paving Expo for the HC 110 – HC 130 G-Tier compactors

The HC 110 – HC 130 G-Tier compactors from Hamm combine high compaction power with a high-performance drive and are available in weight classes of 11 and 13 metric tonnes. The compactors can be fitted with a choice of either smooth drum or padfoot drum and fulfil the requirements of the MAR-I and UN ECE R96 (Tier 3) exhaust emissions standards.

Excellent compaction power while cutting diesel consumption

The compactors deliver a high level of compaction power to the construction site, with centrifugal forces of up to 250 kN and static linear loads of up to 35.3 kg/cm. The ECO mode ensures that diesel consumption is cut without compromising on compaction power. Even when the engine speed is reduced, the frequency and the compaction force remain constantly high, which, in turn, leads to a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions. The machines offer gradeability of up to 60%.

Well-known strengths, varied options

Among the features on the compactors is the tried-and-tested 3-point articulated joint that provides excellent stability and safety against overturning. Another highlight is the automatic frequency adjustment that enables the operator to select the required vibration frequency directly through the display. The drive computer continuously adjusts the volumetric flow to reach the target value. The new compactors are driven by a 101 kW John Deere engine. Options such as compaction measurement using the Hamm Compaction Meter, a process data gateway, padfoot shells, LED lighting and an automatic vibration system are available.

Comfort and accessibility for servicing

The operator's platform is ergonomically designed and is available with various options, including a modern ROPS cab with optional heating and air-conditioning system and a folding protective roof or ROPS/FOPS (level 1). All service points are readily accessible, ensuring operational readiness at all times.
