The WIRTGEN GROUP’s brand headquarters in Germany and its factories in Brazil, China and India utilise state-of-the-art manufacturing and process technologies. Through the continuous improvement of production processes and the use of appropriate technologies, the WIRTGEN GROUP is working on the reduction of energy and material consumption at its factories and on creating a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. All factories operated by the Wirtgen Group are certified according to ISO 14001, the international standard for environmental management systems.
Photovoltaic systems – zero-emission power generation
We are committed to sustainable power generation. In the coming years, our plans foresee investments in double-figure millions in equipping our factories and subsidiaries with efficient photovoltaic systems that enable us to generate the electric power we need with zero-emissions.
