MC 110 Z EVO Recycling of building rubble in Göppingen
A Mobicat jaw crusher processes concrete and building rubble in Stauferpark in Göppingen. Approx. 4,500 tons of material with a feed size of 0-500 mm are crushed to 0-60 mm and are used again on site as filling material.

A SUPER 1303-3i repaved the surface course on a 3.1 m-wide tree-lined route at a thickness of 3 cm. The new pavement of sand-coloured asphalt blends harmoniously into the landscape. The VÖGELE wheeled paver in the Compact Class paved the coloured asphalt with a crown of +2.5%.
The SUPER 1600 L helps customers and users to complete projects cost-efficiently while delivering high quality. This tracked paver from VÖGELE proved it could do just that on a job rehabilitating National Highway 104 in Yuhang District – and the road didn’t have to be blocked off even once.
Two SUPER 1880 L pavers with Heavy-Duty kits made a good job of paving an abrasive cement-treated base course mix, creating the ideal conditions for ensuring that National Highway 107 in Xuchang stands up to heavy traffic for a long time to come.
Swiss company Recytec continues investing in Kleemann plants
Recytec from Switzerland specialises in the processing of waste materials and materials in the recyclable mineral chain. Recytec has now extended its vehicle fleet and is participating in work on the tunnel construction project on the A1.
During a construction job in South Africa, it was scientifically proven by the University of Twente that the MT 3000-2 Offset PowerFeeder improves paving quality – among other things, using RoadScan, the innovative temperature measurement system from VÖGELE.
Because of the dry desert winds, the work can only be carried out at night – and only for three to four months in the summer: the largest WIRTGEN slipform paver, the SP 1600, and the flexible SP 500 bring all their skills into play when paving concrete at the New Ulaanbaatar International Airport.
In 2001, conventional “drilling and blasting” was regarded as the most important extraction method in the West African country. Today, however, bauxite mining is carried out exclusively using Wirtgen’s surface miners, which are more cost-effective, safer, and more environmentally friendly.
