Scalping screens

Good preparation before the crushing process

The MOBISCREEN scalping screens are used, for example, before the crushing process for material sorting. Coarse screen surfaces such as slotted grates, finger screens and punched plates are used. Different plant versions are available with double-deck screening units.

Scalping screens are designed such that they can sort material even before the first crushing stage. For this purpose, different screening plant versions are available with different screen casing sizes as double-deck screening plants.

Depending on the plant, feed material can have a feed size of up to 500 mm. Thanks to their compact dimensions, the plants are easy to relocate and transport.

During the daily routine, screen surfaces are really put to the test. To guarantee long-term, reliable screening to the desired final grain size, the screen surfaces from KLEEMANN are made of particularly wear-resistant spring wire steel or round wire.

Thanks to the double-anchoring at the crossings, they have a high mesh stability for uniform screening. The screening result itself is determined by numerous factors. The most important influence factors include the grain shape, the humidity content and the feed volume.
