Nextgen: Wirtgen India launch

Wirtgen India launched the new generation of mobile screen plants from Kleemann on the Indian market.

With effect from 1 July 2015, the German specialist for crushing and screen plants will sell in India its completely new developed MOBISCREEN MS 952 and MS 953 screen plants which are produced at the local factory of Wirtgen India in Pune.

The track-mounted screen plants will be available in a double-deck (MS 952) or triple-deck design (MS 953) and have a feed capacity of up to 500 tonnes per hour.

The screen plants have been developed specially to cater for the needs of “contractors“, and are characterised by their flexible operational capability, very good transport properties, fast set-up times and efficient operation - and naturally with the best possible performance values.

Optimum material flow properties, large screening area

The plants have, for example, a feed hopper with a very high capacity. This feed hopper opens in the material flow direction, thereby improving material flow and preventing material blockages. In order to use upstream crushing plants which have a lower transfer height, the side panels of the feed hopper can be removed so that smooth operation is also guaranteed in these cases.

An extra-wide feeding conveyor (width: 1,200 mm) transports the material further. This feeding conveyor can be adjusted by means of a shifting mechanism to the adjustable screening angle, thus permanently ensuring an optimum point for discharging the material onto the screen.

A baffle plate at the top end of the screen casing distributes the material and also provides protection against wear. The screening unit itself measures 1550 x 6100 mm on the upper deck or centre deck (MS 953) and 1550 x 5400 mm on the lower deck.

Easy control, optimum transportability

Easy operation and simple transportability of the plant are also naturally very important for the user. The plant is controlled via an intuitively operated control panel which can be attached to different points on the plant. The user therefore has an excellent view of each performed function, for example folding a conveyor in or out. The conveyors are folded in quickly in a space-saving way. The chassis has enough ground clearance upstream and downstream of the crawler running gear in order to make it easier to load the plant onto a low loader. The electronically controlled hydraulic valves also make loading easier since they move the plant quietly and smoothly.
