Fleet Management: keeps your machines in perfect condition

The WIRTGEN GROUP’s solution for this goes by the name of WITOS FleetView

The WITOS FleetView fleet management system makes processes more efficient thanks to system-supported processing, sharing, visualisation and analysis of machine and positioning data.

From systematic monitoring of the operational status of your machines in everyday use to supporting maintenance and diagnostic processes. This minimises response times and idle times and optimises maintenance work. WITOS data can also be imported into existing systems via suitable interfaces.

SmartService inspection and maintenance agreements ideally complement the fleet management options. With WITOS FleetView, customers can keep track of the location and operational status of their machines at any time and from anywhere. This enables timely responses to scheduled maintenance appointments and assures the long-term value retention of their machines.

WITOS Paving Plus: Process management and higher quality thanks to a connected project site

The WIRTGEN Group has developed smart software solutions and integrated them into the WITOS infrastructure in the form of modules to optimise the process of connecting value chains in planning, execution and operations.

Project profitability can be increased with the aid of digital processes and tools.

For example, the full version of WITOS Paving Plus from VÖGELE is the software-based process management solution for asphalt paving. It connects everyone involved in the process chain, from the asphalt mixing plant to the paver operator, and consists of a total of five modules. As a result, site planning (Control), mix supply (Materials), mix transport (Transport), asphalt paving (JobSite) and subsequent process analysis (Analysis) can all be managed in real time in one single system. The site manager and paving crew can respond to potential disruptions quickly and systematically and make paving processes much more efficient.

Once a construction project has been completed, it can also be analysed and documented. This data can be used to identify ways for the optimisation of processes in future projects. As the data and information can be shared with all contractors working on a site, construction processes also become more transparent, which enables all parties involved to carry out their work on the basis of the same, constantly updated information. This ensures sustainable optimisation of the paving process.

WITOS Paving Docu: Easy and user-friendly documentation of paver and paving data

WITOS Paving Docu provides construction contractors with a smart solution for the digital documentation and analysis of asphalt paving projects.

With this system, the road paver acts as a server and enables data to be shared between the machine and a smartphone app via WLAN. With the app, site managers and paver operators can start jobs with WITOS Paving Docu via the machine terminal and thus record a wealth of machine and paving data such as the working width, paving speed and stops and the effective paving time. In addition, the system can be used to scan delivery documents via QR code (or enter them manually) as well as for continuous calculation of paved areas, material quantities and surface densities. After finishing the job, site reports are automatically sent to selected recipients by email.

Smart Compaction: Comprehensive compaction measurement and documentation

With the Smart Compaction product family, HAMM has developed a whole range of solutions for smart and simple compaction.

The solutions provided by Smart Compaction focus on digital interfacing of the operator and the machine: Smart Doc is a tool for comprehensive measurement and documentation of compaction in asphalt paving and earthworks. Smart Compact is a digital compaction assistant that actively assists the roller driver with the determination and automatic regulation of the required compaction force in both drums.

The brand-independent examples show that WITOS enables customers to select the solution they need for each specific application from a toolbox containing the ideal tools. As a result, customers can significantly increase the efficiency of their projects with regard to costs, quality and time, and precisely manage their entire machine fleet at the same time.

WPT - WIRTGEN PERFORMANCE TRACKER

Precise construction site data for higher productivity, efficiency and sustainability

The satellite-based WPT - WIRTGEN PERFORMANCE TRACKER serves the purpose of measuring and documenting machine performance on the site during ongoing construction projects. The measured data are continuously analysed and displayed to users in a clearly laid out form. WPT directly delivers valuable information about the construction site and, over time, can contribute to the improvement of productivity, efficiency, quality and sustainability on each individual construction site. At present, WPT is available for all current compact and large milling machines from WIRTGEN and the models of the WR series.

WPT for cold milling machines uses a laser scanner to measure the cross-sectional profile to be milled. Surface milling performance and milling volume are then precisely measured using GNSS positioning and other sensors. At the same time, Performance Monitoring in the Operations Center even allows the measured data to be clearly displayed in real-time during the ongoing process. In the case of WPT for WR series machines, all relevant site information, such as the working width and depth, the area and distance worked, fuel, water, and binding agent consumption etc., is registered by means of GNSS positioning and high-precision sensor systems on the machine. This makes it possible to show exactly where and how much binding agent or water was added and, in turn, the respective mixing quality. A detailed final report enables exact documentation of the mixing performance, the quality of the work and the efficiency of the process at precisely defined locations.

A control panel provides the machine operator with a continuously updated overview of all relevant job data. After confirmation by the machine operator, e.g. at the end of a day’s shift, the report is sent to the machine owner by email in Excel and PDF format.
