Emissions goals for 2030

As a part of the Construction & Forestry Division of John Deere, the WIRTGEN GROUP contributes to the achievement of the goals for the reduction of CO₂e emissions set out for the entire group by 2030*:

50% CO₂e emissions in Scope 1 & 2:
30% CO₂e emissions in Scope 3:

Deere & Company has validated these goals with the SBTi**.

We use the internationally recognized standard of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol for the accounting of our CO₂e emissions.

Three fields of action

In order to deliver sustainable added value in a lasting and focused manner, we work in three clearly defined fields of action: Factories , Machines & Plants: and the Production Systems used by our customers.

Tracking and reducing emissions

Once we have identified the proportion of emissions generated by individual activities within the overall process, we can begin to focus on the realisation of reduction potentials. We have compiled a model-based scenario analysis for you to illustrate where emission reduction potentials lie.
