Fleet overview

Fleet overview provides a compact overview of the current operational status of your machines. Here, one or more machines can be selected for more detailed views and analyses. Comprehensive filtering and sorting functions help you to adapt the overview to your particular needs. Once adapted and locally saved, this ensures that the information you want is always quickly available to you at a glance.

The navigation bar (1) enables you to access the various functions of WITOS FleetView.

In the direct view of machines (2), you will see an extract from the master data of the marked machines, the last registered position of the machine on a mini-map, cumulated operational status data for the machine and the last messages sent. The geopositioning data (5) can be accessed by clicking on the machine symbol in the mini-map.

A compact display of the machine status (3) provides a quick overview of the information about your machine: status for warnings and error messages, communication status, operational status, monitoring status, due and overdue maintenance, service agreements.

In the table (4), you can see the most recently sent operational data, the system data of your fleet and the minimum, maximum and mean values of the most important operational data. The data displayed here can be shown or hidden as required.

By the selection of machines in the fleet overview, you define which of your machines will be shown in the other windows of the navigation bar (1).

Map view

The map view shows the current location of one or more your machines. The coloured borders provide a first indication of the current operational status of the machines. This enables you to identify whether a machine is malfunctioning, whether maintenance is due or whether an alarm has been triggered by the monitoring function.

The message window (1) provides information about the operational, communication, monitoring, maintenance and message status and about any existing service agreements.

The function radius search (2) enables you to identify and select machines located in a specifically defined area.

The machine path function (3) (machine path) enables you to track the route that the machine takes during operations and transport in a freely-selectable period.

The green dots on the machine path indicate that the machine was switched on. The red and yellow triangles on the machine path stand for messages about movements received from deactivated machines. Red stands for cyclic movement messages (called shock reports) and yellow for the most recent movement message (called wake-up reports).

Messages

This is where you will find all active messages sent by the machines you selected in the fleet overview.

The message status (1) is divided into four categories:

Remarks show non-critical states of the machine system that must be taken into account when operating the machine.

Alarms indicate an abnormal machine state and an impending critical state. This state can be specifically monitored to avoid subsequent damage to the machine.

Faults indicate critical machine states that require the machine to be stopped immediately.

Messages sent from the machine's diesel engine are also displayed, but without colour coding.

This enables rapid determination of the expected effect on the machine's operation.

All datasets displayed can be grouped according to the respective column content (2). For example, messages can be grouped according to machines or error codes.

Monitoring

You can define where and when your machines are not permitted to operate in monitoring activation (1). When monitoring protection is active, you will receive immediate notification of unauthorised access. In addition to notification in the portal, a message can also be sent to an email address of your choice.

Area monitoring (geo-fencing)
As soon as a machine moves outside of the permitted host area, it is indicated in the system and a notification is sent.

Timed monitoring (curfew)
If the machine is turned on outside of the predefined working hours, it is indicated in the system and a notification is sent.

Movement monitoring
If the machine is moved when deactivated, this is indicated in the system and a notification is sent.

Fault/alarm message monitoring
In the event of fault or alarm messages from a machine, these are indicated in the system and a notification is sent.

Maintenance message
As soon as a machine enters its defined maintenance window, this will be indicated in the system and a notification will be sent. A further notification will be sent if the machine's operating hours exceed the period after which maintenance is due. The time for a reminder of upcoming maintenance can be set here. If a longer lead-time is required for maintenance planning, the maintenance window for upcoming maintenance can be reset from the default value of 50 hours to e.g. 70 hours.

In monitoring configuration (2), you can define the radius of the geo-fences and the working times (for the derivation of curfew times). The maintenance window for notification of pending maintenance is set on the monitoring activation page.

By pressing and holding down the Ctrl key at the same time, you can select multiple machines (3) and configure settings for the selected fleet. Clicking on the button allows you to edit the settings you have entered.
If a monitoring alarm has been triggered, you can click on the button to reset it.

Maintenance

The maintenance overview shows you all information about scheduled maintenance dates for your machine fleet.
In the maintenance status for a machine (1), you can view the type and schedule of the most recent maintenance and all information about the next scheduled dates for one or more machines.

The machine fleet overview (2) provides a summary of the maintenance status of all machines in your fleet entire. When maintenance has been carried out, it can be logged in the system with the input fields (3). The system determines the next maintenance date on the basis of the data entered.

Maintenance events can be entered in any order. Maintenance events not entered can be subsequently entered at any time to assure a seamless maintenance history.

Operational data history

Take a look into the past of your machines. The history view (1) function can display a clearly laid out history showing the past operational and positioning data of your machines for a freely-definable timeline. Standard reports with embedded graphics enable you to make fast and simple analyses. Create customised operational reports and gain valuable insights for the future.

In the operational data history window (2) , you can choose either a calendar-based display or a display based on operating hours. You can also set whether you wish to view a period before or after the selected time, and set the time range (in years, months, weeks, days, hours or minutes). If you wish to change the time range, you can click on the button and alter it at any time.

In addition to the table view, you can use the button (3) to display the data in the form of a diagram. The diagram view (4) lets you compare up to three data entities for one or more machines.

Select diagram view to display your data in graphic form (3). In addition to the CSV format export option, you can also use PDF export (5) for the generation of standard reports.

Message history

All current and past messages from your machines at a glance

The system provides a summary of all past messages, and you decide how far back you want to go. The clear categorisation of the messages and the documentation of when they appeared or became inactive enable you to draw significant conclusions regarding the service status of the machine.

All messages are displayed and described just as they appear on the machines.

Maintenance history

The history view of the maintenance section (1) provides all the information you need to ensure that your machines are ideally maintained.
From information about the types and schedules of upcoming maintenance to the documentation of previous maintenance – the maintenance functions reliably ensure that your fleet is always in peak condition.

In addition to an overview of your machine fleet (2) and maintenance that has already been carried out, you can also edit previously completed maintenance activities (3).

If incorrect information was given during the maintenance entry, or a maintenance event has been entered that has not yet been carried out, these erroneous entries can be deleted by clicking on the recycle bin symbol.

Master data

The master data provides you with an overview of your machines’ master data, associated maintenance schedules and the basic settings for WITOS FleetView.

The Machine master data (1) is subdivided into:

• Machine master data (customer designation, S/N, TCU serial number, machine type)
• Contact person and relevant brand headquarters, sales and service organisation, dealer
• Fleet affiliation

The machine transfer function is available to the user on the machine (1) tab. This enables the machine owner to temporarily transfer the ownership of the machine to another user for a specified period of time. Machines transferred in this way then appear in the other user’s WITOS FleetView system.

The maintenance overview (2) shows not only the maintenance intervals for a selected machine, but also, in the machine overview, the most recent and scheduled maintenance events for your machine fleet.

In the configuration tab (3), you can configure basic settings in WITOS FleetView, such as the choice of:

• Language
• Units (metric or imperial)
• Start page (fleet or map).

Data export

Datasets exported from the operational data history can be found in the export area. Exported datasets can be downloaded here as often as required by clicking on the download button. The most important framework parameters (monitoring period, monitoring start, viewing direction etc.) are summarised in the clearly laid out table overview.

No longer needed exported datasets can be removed from the list with the delete button.

Newly exported datasets can be added in operational data history.

As long as they are not deliberately deleted, exported datasets will be permanently stored in the system and can be accessed at any time.
