Questions and answers about support for WITOS FleetView

I can access WITOS FleetView, but I can’t see my machine.

Every machine has to be registered before it can be seen. The registration process is handled by your local Wirtgen Group sales & service organisation. Please get in touch with them to get your machine registered.

I can only see one of my machines in WITOS FleetView. Yesterday, WITOS FleetView showed me them all.

Another filtering option is the quick search function on the fleet page. Please take a look and see if anything has been entered here, if it has, delete the entries.

You can also make use of a radius filter in map view. This shows you only the machines located within a target area you define. If a geofilter is active, this is indicated by an illuminated globe icon on the fleet page. The selected area is displayed in the map view. To deactivate it, click on the illuminated globe icon on the fleet page. You must also click on the globe icon on the map page and then on the recycle bin icon to delete the filter.

There are various filtering options that can be used in WITOS FleetView. For example, you can filter according to any visible column to narrow down the selection of machines. The lamp icon at the bottom edge of the page on the website will light up when you are using such a filter. Please click on this icon to delete all active filters. Once you have done this, you should be able to see all of your machines again.

Your machines are all displayed again.

I can see all my machines in WITOS FleetView, but the map on the fleet page always shows only Germany.

This indicates that the machines have not yet sent any data, or that there could be a problem with the GPS signal. Please check whether machine data such as fuel consumption, fuel level or operating hours are being sent. You should also check whether there is a date and time in the box of the ‘End of recording interval’ parameter. If these data are also not being sent, the machine has not yet sent any data.

If this is the case, please contact your local Wirtgen Group sales & service organisation for further advice.

If the other data have been sent, there must be a problem with the GPS signal, which means that the next step is to check the connections of the antennas. If the connections are in order, please contact your local Wirtgen Group sales & service organisation for further advice.

I can see my machine in WITOS FleetView, but the position can’t be right.

This indicates that there could be a problem with the GPS signal. Please check whether machine data such as fuel consumption, fuel level or operating hours are being sent. Please also check whether there is a date and time in the box of the ‘End of recording interval’ parameter, and whether they are right. If the date is correct, there must be a problem with the GPS signal; if it is not correct, the problem must be with the TCU.

In the first case, you should check the connections between the telematics unit and the antenna. If the connections are in order, please contact your local Wirtgen Group sales & service organisation for further advice
