Convenient and ready for operation quickly
The Comfort Package makes operating “Dash 5” pavers more convenient, safe and ergonomic than ever before. The Comfort Package includes the PAC comfort access feature, Ergonomic Plus operator seats, luggage nets and sound insulation in the hardtop, and also bottle holders.
Convenient access
The Paver Access Control (PAC) comfort access feature included in the package makes it quicker, easier and safer to start up and shut down the paver every day. All the necessary functions can be controlled safely and conveniently from the ground via the Paver Access Control operating unit integrated in the screed.
Smart
Luggage nets in the hardtop and bottle holders on the seats help keep the operator’s platform neat and tidy. The insulation in the hardtop reduces heat build-up and noise.
Ideal seating
The comfortable, user-friendly Ergonomic Plus operator’s seat has adjustable seat heating and can be pivoted through ± 20°, whilst seat height and backrest angle can also be adjusted.
Paver Access Control (PAC) in detail
In the dark, the paver's lighting can be switched on first. Once the cover is open, the diesel engine can be started, the hardtop put up and the screed lowered for convenient ascent. The hardtop is locked automatically and the machine control system is booted up. This ensures safety, as the paver operator cannot forget to lock the hardtop, and saves time, as he can start heating the screed as soon as he steps onto the operator’s platform.
