The WIRTGEN GROUP Branch of John Deere GmbH & Co. KG bundles the administrative functions of the WIRTGEN GROUP – amongst others HR, Legal, Taxes, Controlling and IT – to control the WIRTGEN GROUP business processes efficiently.

To support our Corporate Audit team, we are looking for a full-time employee to start as soon as possible.

Internal Control Analyst (m/f/d)

Essential duties & responsibilities:

  • Ensure SOX Compliance for multiple units as assigned including performance of the documentation and testing of internal controls for multiple units;
  • Report work performed, deficiencies noted, and recommendations for change to unit management. Perform follow up remediation testing, coordinate Roll Forward review and Roll Forward testing when required;
  • Serve as the Internal Control lead to units assigned, including consultation on Internal Control related issues, process risk analysis, assisting the unit in gap analysis and closure assistance;
  • Provide Internal Control support for audits performed at the units of responsibility;
  • Provide Internal Control support when requested on implementation of process improvements and best practices at the unit;
  • Perform other services as determined within the Wirtgen Corporate Audit Process;

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Liberal Arts, or related field;
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Audit; Factory or Marketing Unit experience would be preferred;

Our preferred requirements:

  • Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP);
  • Ability to perform without direct on-site supervision;
  • Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work well across multiple functions;
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects;
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English;
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%
  • Exceptional Excel skills, including the development of reports from multiple data sources;
