We are looking for an

Sales Manager

to join our team for the Slipform Paving machines who believes in our mission of remaining Close to Our Customers.

The Sales Manager is responsible to assist with multiple projects and activities for sales and marketing our WIRTGEN slipform paving products and services across the U.S. and Canada.

The scope of this role:

  • Process all sales and rentals of SP equipment including entering orders and invoicing in SAP.
  • Performs U.S. Customs clearance protocol and requirements for all units.
  • Tracks shipment of machine units from Germany.
  • Works and coordinates with internal transportation team to deliver demo/sold units timely.
  • Provides quotes, pricing and availability to SP Specialists, District Managers and Dealers as needed.
  • Supports District Managers and Dealers to resolve related issues
  • Assists with bid preparation for buy boards and municipalities.
  • Assists and provides price updates to District Managers and Dealers.
  • Coordinates with Wirtgen factory and outside vendors to build concrete molds. This includes overseeing customer mold check list and drawing correctness to Germany and customer.
  • Assists in executing marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Produces regularly scheduled reports from SAP.
  • Assists in implementing public relations programs, online events, and trade shows.
  • Organizes and files work orders, related correspondence, truck bills, etc., as necessary.
  • Works closely with Director of Sales to manage machine and option inventory.

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills, as well as an experienced presenter
  • Passion and priority for contributing toward success for the customer and the company.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associates Degree and/or related work experience.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite for communication and organizational requirements.
  • Broad knowledge in equipment invoicing cycles, U.S. Customs, price quoting and sales/marketing
  • Preferred experience in heavy equipment sales and dealer/distributor background
