A work of art as a birthday gift: Wirtgen Turkmenistan offers very special congratulations

The employees of Wirtgen Turkmenistan have come up with something very special to commemorate our founder Reinhard Wirtgen: his portrait adorns a handmade carpet. This unique carpet contains 400,000 knots per m² and took 20 weeks to produce. It was presented to Stefan Wirtgen by Tore Durdykov, the manager of our branch in Ashgabat (Republic of Turkmenistan).

While Wirtgen held an open day in Windhagen, our sales and service company Wirtgen Limited in Lincoln, UK, also invited employees and their families to a large-scale Family Fun Day to celebrate the 50th jubilee of Wirtgen.
